HEATHER MENZIESHeather Menzies is an award-winning, Ottawa-based writer and scholar.

The author of ten books, including the 1996 best-seller, Whose Brave New World?, No Time, a memoir, Enter Mourning, and her most recent book, Reclaiming the Commons.

Heather is a long-time activist in the women's movement, social justice and cultural politics. She has served on the board of the National Council of the Writer's Union on three occasions and is currently co-Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Heather contributes articles to international and North American journals and newspapers, lectures and is an engaging speaker.
